The United States has experienced one of the largest declines in religiosity globally over the past decade, new research shows.
There has been a 17-percent drop in in the number of U.S. adults who say religion is an important part of their daily life between 2015, when it was 66 percent, and 2025, when it is 49 percent, according to recent Gallup polls.
This is the largest Gallup has recorded in any country over any 10-year period since 2007.

The King James Bible is written at about a 5th to 6th grade reading level, according to a computerized test of the text. If people can’t understand that then they should be asking for a refund from their elementary schools.
Plus you have to learn a few words not in common use today. That’s what dictionaries are for.
2. People aren't really becoming irreligious - they just have a different, very uncritical, blind-faith religion that they fail to recognize as such, that has been inculcated into them.
It's funny how atheists see themselves as "freethinkers" when the overwhelming majority of them over the last couple centuries have been found in totalitarian countries in which the educational and media systems have been strongly organized around preaching atheism and persecuting dissidents - the USSR, China, and modern US all being good examples. In countries and cultures and historical periods without such efforts they barely register on the radar.
Decades of marxism is finally paying off for them.
It took them decades but the mission was accomplished.
