“ In my circle, nobody gave a darn what color someone was, we were all just friends. Still are.”
…last thing libs want is for whites and blacks to get along. I worked in Brunswick Ga in the 80’s. Rented a townhouse on St Simons. Never have I met nicer, welcoming people. My car broke down in a neighborhood in Brunswick near the paper mill. As I walked thru to the main road I had people offering to repair it. Broken clutch cable. This one guy was fixing it while his wife served me a fried chicken dinner! Black family. Never asked for a nickel and wished me well!
That damn paper mill, what a smell!
One of my best friends, happens to be black, called my mom "Mom", lives in Brunswick.
