I LOVE that tire cover (and bumper sticker). Two of our three kids learned to drive a stick and get a laugh out of it, too.
“took your eyes away from that road”
That’s why I hate all the electronics. Even getting my iPhone audio to work on my 2014 Ford Expedition is a pain in the neck. The screen fonts are small, they aren’t very bright, they are confusing as heck, and they seem to randomly change. My Bluetooth connection used to be rock solid, but has gone wonky (random music dropouts on Spotify) so I now connect the phone with a USB wire. But that’s hard to get going, too. When it all works, I love it. But sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get simple music playing and it takes attention away from the road.
He says we're going the wrong way...
Oh he's drunk, how would he know where we're going
Yeah, how would he know?

Thanks for that. I’ll check it.
Death wobble isn't a Jeep thing. It's a solid front axle thing. Something is worn or out of balance/alignment. Most commonly occurs after suspension or tire mods and poor balance/alignment issues.
I bought a used Cherokee XJ that had crappy Chinese tires on it. Death wobble at freeway speeds after hitting a bump was common. I changed the suspension bushings and tie rod ends up front (anything that could have been worn out). No change. Changed the tires, got a balance and an alignment and no more wobble. The cheap Chinese tires were the most likely culprit. They had very soft sidewalls compared to the Firestone tires I put on it.
Dang. I haven't kept up on the Jeeps. My last reply is a non-starter at that point. Figures they'd go cheap. My buddy has a 2017 that's been modded like crazy for rock crawling. It's basically not street drivable at anything above about 40 MPH.
“So, I’m guessing this cannot be solved with an over-the-air software update.
Will probably have to flash or replace the ECU at the dealer’s garage.”
i was wondering about that ...
