Not a chance. I agree with a prior response that Rainier's major threat is of truly massive lahars from almost instant melting of the glaciers on and around it. Those have happened before and most of Tacoma sits right on the debris from one about 5-7 thousand years ago.
Tacoma is the city most in danger from Rainier.
