The career politicians in both parties hate him because he showed the world that even a bombastic blowhard D-list celebrity can do their jobs 100x better than they can. He reminded us all that we should be electing random plumbers and drivers and cashiers, with strict Term Limits and tight election financing and punitive lobbying laws, and the entire planet would be much much much better off for it.

I believe that they hate him most because he did not pay his party dues, get in line and wait his turn. They consider him a line jumper.
