There’s an Anti-Left Storm Brewing on the Right, and It’s Ominous
American Thinker ^ | 11 Nov, 2025 | Chuck Mason

There’s an anti-Left storm brewing among the once conservative/libertarian Generation Z, which follows a predictable and dangerous path that’s left a trail of destruction throughout history.

It came to light in the split between Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson last week over Carlson’s platforming of Nick Fuentes, the virulent antisemitic, pro-Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler-adoring, Holocaust-denying influencer, who’s become the heroic voice of Gen Z’s heterosexual white Christian men who have been devastated the hardest by America’s decline.

Shapiro called Carlson out for giving Fuentes an uncontested platform, leading to a bitter parting between two friends who had fought to preserve a conservative America.

The breakup of a bromance between alternative-conservative media heavyweights made headlines.

But the real story is the anti-left’s disturbing path, which feeds on Fuentes’s galling rhetoric, that’s becoming their uncontested rallying cry.

Gen Z is mad as hell and turning their anger to the usual cast of scapegoats: Jews, women, immigrants, minorities, Baby Boomers, and government conspiracies. We’ve seen this play before, and we know the results.

Gen Z is waking up to the reality that they’re inheriting the overwhelming problems of a debilitated America that they didn’t create and can’t solve by relying on traditional conservative politics. They’re suffering consequences created by generations of Baby Boomer and GenX politicos who wrecked their shot at the American dream by sacrificing their future for short-term political wins years before they were born. Here’s what they face.

They’re the first entire generation that’s predicted to underachieve their parents’ success. They aren’t marrying, and when they do, their divorce rates are at an all-time high.

"But, as they say, evil prevails when good men say nothing, and we lost Limbaugh and Kirk, which makes the dogs seem to sound louder."

This is an excellent point.

The passing of Rush Limbaugh created such a massive vacuum in the room, I still try to keep his ideas in mind because of its mix of both correct ideas and humility.(with plenty of humor) Charlie Kirk turned out to be the closest thing we had to a Limbaugh replacement and he was coldly assassinated. The vacuum remains. It's exceedingly rare to find such virtuous people as this.

I know I am not up at this level that is for sure.

If Crowder wasn’t such a jerk in real life, he could have come close to Limbaugh.

One of the biggest, if not the biggest divisions is whether or not America should be America First or Israel First.

Carlson believes in the first, Shapiro in the second.

There is another big division in America.

Is name calling, censorship, deplatforming, doxxing and similar tactics OK or not?

The left says yes. Some on the right also say yes.

I say no.

“America’s dysfunctional democracy...”

Doesn’t know our system of govt.

Gen Z: 12-27 years old. Most aren’t even old enough to work, they know nothing. Their lousy commie education is their only problem.

Intel interrogation? Wasn't my MOS but I was forced into doing a lot of that myself. I gotta say with your penchant for glaring inaccuracy and grade school level writing, you've lost your touch.

I don't have PTSD. Surviving that absolute shitstorm was a blessing from God, not a liability... or disability.

You must attempting a FR record for demonstrable smears and asinine falsehoods in a single thread. You're doing great.

I disagree. Some BS isn’t worth hearing. I base this position on the destruction that the stupid Q’Anon conspiracy crap did to my father before his death. He stopped paying taxes (IRS no longer exists), was paranoid as hell about the dumbest crap (pull into the bank parking lot so we can see if they’ve closed down yet), believed Trump was still secretly president during Biden’s term, believed that 1000s of people has been secretly executed @ Gitmo. That one I found particularly disturbing because the man I love and response who is a man of God and a patriot was somehow ok with the extra judicial murder of celebrities and lefties. Not all positions are worthy of a hearing IMHO.

“He stopped paying taxes (IRS no longer exists)”

I never heard that one before...what exactly is the claim?

The IRS buildings and offices exist—he could visit one and touch the walls.

Lol.

Why shouldn’t MAGA be outraged by the 2020 Big Steal, a senile puppet president, courts constantly usurping powers of the executive and legislative branches, etc.?

Actions have consequences.

I dunno the origin of that claim, I think the IRS was supposed to have been abolished or something. I had to avoid these topics with him lest we have an acute disagreement. Another topic worthy of mention and ridicule is Nesara / Gesara. All of these topics are completely toxic and serve zero positive purpose in the real world. My dad actually advised my sibling to NOT refinance their house because Nesara would forgive all debt and everyone would get boatloads of free cash.

Interesting.

Notice that the IRS claim is really different than all the others—in that it is easily falsifiable with a day trip to any IRS location.

consequences created by generations of Baby Boomer and GenX politicos who wrecked their shot at the American dream by sacrificing their future for short-term political wins

Democrat pols who agreed to excessive public payroll benefits to unions and teachers etc. in exchange for near unanimous support at the polls. These costs are hurting every taxpayer in America significantly and will continue for decades to come.

“Gen Z is mad as hell and turning their anger to the usual cast of scapegoats: Jews, women, immigrants, minorities, Baby Boomers, and government conspiracies. We’ve seen this play before, and we know the results.”

Kinda, kinda not. DO we really know the results? Those listed groups are the direct cause of the lethal and systemic problems in America today. But is that the problem that must be faced squarely? No, of course not. Being angry at the depredations of those groups and saying it out loud. THAT is the true problem.

We can discuss marginal tax rates and trade deficits and various policies all day long... but we may never call out the things directly killing America.

Got it. Is every hard left and bizarre group not funded, organized or run by Jews? Even Charlie Kirk said so. Are they not bribing congress and cajoling us into joining every war they have?

Women? Did they not vote at 80% for Mamdani? Did they not break democrat by 20 points in every election for Obama, Biden, Kamala etc? Are they not the driving force behind trannys, drag queen story hour, abortion, socialism, un control, you name it?

Immigrants? Somewhere around 45 million in America failing to assimilate. Moslems won in NYC, the Mayor of Minneapolis campaigned speaking Somali, Trump was slobbering all over the Syrian ISIS leader yesterday on the Marines Birthday.
Mexicans are running back and forth like the ending scene in the Three Amigos movie.
Minorities? Preferential treatment when they aren’t randomly murdering whitey.

Boomers? Did we not hard this generation a world where America has never had a year of peace in their entire lives? Did we not explode the debt from 900 Billion to 38 Trillion from 1980 to now? Did we not let schools indoctrinate them into socialism and radicalism and sicko sexuality?

And government conspiracies? Seriously gonna argue our government is not still hiding JFK, didn’t let the CIA smuggle in cocaine and heroin, isn’t hiding which of our leaders of government and business weren’t raping kids with Epstein? Gonna pretend the presidency hasn’t been stolen before our eyes? Gonna pretend January 6 wasn’t a FBI/CIA buffalo jump? Covid from Bat Soup? The lockdowns. There are too many verifiable ones to even list.

But don’t dare point it out, because “we’ve seen this and know where it leads”. Just be silent and discuss marginal tax rates. Just yesterday they said letting 600k Chinese students in was worth 32 billion dontcha know?

The 1965 Immigration Act was JFK’s baby passed in his honor upon his death, why do people here ignore that?

JFK literally wrote the book on immigration and ran on the immigration platform.
