"Then I guess all here are geniuses too."

I think so. I've visited many websites through the years. The most intelligent people I've found post on Free Republic.

I might take a good thing to its nemesis? You’re right.

Dark chocolate is a gift from God.

Dark chocolate — and even better cacao powder — is by far the best source of theobromine, which literally means God-food. It’s the substance for chocolate will make dogs sick or even kill them.

When feeling quite sad, eat dark chocolate, maybe a whole bar.
Couple of hours later expect to have a better outlook on life.

Worth a try...../s.

This stuff (750mg flavanols) works really well to give you a sustained memory/focus effect. After having problems with ADHD-like symptoms (struggling to finish a task or stay on focus) with just caffeine, I added this and it fixed it. Coffee or matcha provide the caffeine and the flavanols focus it like a lens. Amazing stuff.

Maybe six months ago, I read somewhere that adding cacao powder to coffee improves your mood and mental sharpness. I’ve been doing that each morning since then, and I can say that it absolutely works as advertised. The effect is not dramatic, but it is certainly noticeable.

OMG! My mother used to get me those from Trader Joe’s. Don’t have one around here, and I didn’t think of using Amazon. Thanks!

That is an interesting question. My brother has bees and fantastic honey from an area in MD near the Delaware Bay famous for honey which I am crazy about. However, supplies have run out so I got a grocery store brand called “Local Hive” which comes in several varieties. Its cheap as hell and my brother says most varieties are good. Certainly worth every bit of $10 for 24oz.

Coffee and chocolate. Two items that have gotten a lot of bad rap over the years now being found to be beneficial to your health.

But you’re not getting dumber are you? So keep doing your lunch treat. Think I’ll have a bit myself.

Here in Jersey where we have lots of blueberries and cranberries. There is some very tasty honey from the blueberry farms and cranberry bogs.
