I think the comment is repugnant but there is no way he should have been arrested for it, even for misdemeanor disturbing the peace. That is a slippery slope that the Woke Left will take and run with in their battle to criminalize speech.

ANY legal speech may not be infringed.
The First Amendment reads "shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech" so how then is speech not legal if no law shall be made against it ?
I read the Second Greatest Commandment in the Law of Moses as having the quality of absolute.
Leviticus 19:15-18
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Along with hurling an antisemitic insult, not enough by itself imo but enough under the Mississippi and most states statutes, he threw coins, and most importantly disrupted the gathering. IMO the arrest is consistent with the Mississippi statute
(1) Any person who disturbs the public peace, or the peace of others, by violent, or loud, or insulting, or profane, or indecent, or offensive, or boisterous conduct or language, or by intimidation, or seeking to intimidate any other person or persons, or by conduct either calculated to provoke a breach of the peace, or by conduct which may lead to a breach of the peace, or by any other act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail not more than six (6) months, or both.
(2) The act of breast-feeding shall not constitute a breach of the peace.
(3) The provisions of this section are supplementary to the provisions of any other statute of this state.
Codes, 1942, § 2089.5; Laws, 1960, ch. 254, §§ 1, 2; Laws, 2006, ch. 520, § 9, eff. 4/3/2006.

Nice campus. They house the Grant presidential library and where instrumental in developing the Honda aerospace industry. What the heck did the Jews ever do to anyone?

I don’t support the comment, at all, but to be arrested for it? No free speech?>>> Not at a private venue or private property. and never without repercussions.

With help from others, they wrote the books of the Bible and distributed them for free to all the world.
