Only 1 or two are going to make it work
TSMC is IMO a well-run company. I have done work in several of their fabs in Taiwan, although that was more than a decade ago and things do change over time.
They have a serious risk: most of their production is <100 miles from the saber-rattling People’s Republic of China.
So there are two kinds of production diversification going on. TSMC is establishing production facilities elsewhere in the world (including here in the US); that takes time. And some companies with products that depend upon TSMC-manufactured ICs are seeking to diversify their supply sources away from TSMC.
We live in complex, interesting times...
