When I try to access news max on Firefox using DuckDuckGo search engine I get the message "Secure Connection Failed". What's going on?

check to see if your bookmarks are set to https and not http
Why do you still use any of those? Move to Brave for the browser and Startpage for search. And stop using Newsmax - Chris Ruddy is no good.
Might just be that the certificate used by the source is outdated. Expired. Give it a day.
I pulled the requests for Newsmax and their HTTPS cert is good...
No. I get it with Firefox
Doesn’t matter as I’ve had this problem with two internet providers and using Firefox on both.
I can read newsmax on my iphone with no problem and on Safari. It’s only with Firefox do get the problem. I guess if the majority of folks can read it using Firefox it must be something in my system that’s the problem.
Not windows ... Macbook Pro
Funny. On my system it reads fine on Safari.
“I have no problem getting Newsmax from DDG”
Ditto.
Try resetting your beeber......The stune setting always works for me.
Speaking of that (stuned beeber) did you know that the graphic pic of it is no longer found in a search of the WWW ?
Considering these are two completely different things, I suspect the culprit is in your chair
Are both Firefox and your Macbook up to date? - I have no problem on iMac and FF 144.02
