KEWANEE, Ill. (KWQC) - Three women have been charged after police say there was an argument over the price of a pizza late Wednesday morning.
Nakeita Simpson, 33, of Elgin was arguing with Cenex gas station workers after the price of a pizza was a dollar more than what she had thought, according to Kewanee police.
When police arrived, they offered to pay the $1 to end the argument, but that didn’t work, police said.
The arguing continued and was joined by two women, Kianna Simpson, 27, and Diamond Lockhart, 18, both of Kewanee, police said.
The Cenex employees told police they wanted the women to leave, and while officers were walking them out, Nakeita pulled down a merchandise display near the entrance, breaking several items.
Police said they tried to place Nakeita under arrest, but she resisted, and all three women became combative and resisted arrest.
All three women were arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail, police said.
The three are each charged with:
Felony aggravated battery to a police officer
Obstructing a peace officer
Resisting a peace officer
Nakeita has an additional charge of criminal damage to property under $500, police said.

It is not clear in the article if all 3 knew one another. Two were townies and the one disputing the $1 price of the pizza was from the Chicago area.
that’s why you can never trust a chimp, one minute they’re riding their unicycle smoking a cigarette the next it’s run for your life.
Another option would be to remove the $1.00 extra topping . 🤔
Scrape the topping off and hand it over to the ghettopotamus . Eat it you beast !
I can see these beasts eating from a trough , disgusting .
Fat, fatter, and fattest. And they turned down the dollar deal from the cops. Dumb, dumber, and dumbest.
You know what that image means on FR.
You used it. You got busted for it.
Grow up.
That image is used on FR by posters when referring to black Americans that break the law. It has almost never been used to refer to white Americans.
And it’s often used to make broad brush statements about black Americans as a whole.

Rules for posting are clear - no racist posts. Deal with it.
I caught a billboard with that image on it. It was a very subtle but in-your-face ad about savages.
Waaaa!
LOL!
Yes. But - for the record:
Much to the chagrin of a certain wannabe here - ahem - it’s not race specific.
Funny how critics use their biases to attack one and not all the posters of such stories which - ironically - are overwhelmingly - but not entirely - about one race.
Re ‘biases’: I frame it as guilt. Such people would actually consider reparations as a civil tool to ease urban racial angst which, ironically, is 100% borne of dem/prog policies.
Sounds like Nakeita Simpson was in a wolffing mode.
In slang, “wolfing” can mean to eat very quickly
>> That image is used on FR by posters when referring to black Americans that break the law.
Wrong. That image is used to refer to the observation of the behavior of a group that has human-like characteristics but is operating beneath the standards of civilized humanity.
>> And it’s often used to make broad brush statements about black Americans as a whole.
Wrong again, Karen. It’s not *used* in the way you suggest, that’s just your incorrect conclusion. It *does* make a statistically valid and truthful observation about a certain subset of the black population in America. If they, with the help of their peers, would clean up their act and behave with civil human dignity, the need for that picture to be posted would vanish.
>> You don’t like me busting posters for using that image?
To be honest, I don’t like you much at all.
>> Click the Report Abuse button and take your chances... Deal with it.
I don’t play that sniveling game, Karen. As a means of “dealing with it” I’ll rather take you to task head on, when I feel the need.
Get lost, Karen. You think you’re a brave crusader when in reality you’re a priggish, delusional woke annoyance, evading the obvious truth of the matter.
Whatever.
Please show some posts where it is used to refer to people who are NOT black Americans.
It’s okay - getting busted for posting smack happens. The key thing is to learn from it.
Good luck.
