He was a nobody student at Boston University—eighteen years old—making mainstream libertarian and/or conservative videos with about one hundred followers.
There were many thousands, maybe tens of thousands, young people out there just like him and we will never know their names.
Then Fuentes posted a question on his Twitter account—which again almost nobody ever read.
The question he posted was amusingly innocent. He asked:
“Why does the Daily Wire never write negative articles about Israel?”
It was an honest question asked in good faith. Fuentes had no idea what was about to happen next.
Some folks on Twitter spread his tweet far and wide and young people left and right found out about it—and he was deemed to be an “anti semite”.
He was banned, cancelled, doxed.
The leftists at Boston University found out who he was and started harassing him all over campus. He could not even eat a meal at a cafeteria without someone calling him nasty names and screaming at him.
He fled Boston University.
Those who are quick to name call have nobody but themselves to blame when it blows back on them.

May 19, 2024 Dozens of graduates walked out during commencement on Nickerson Field, unfurling a “Divest from Apartheid” banner.
October 2024 SJP held an off-campus rally where protesters chanted “Long live the Intifada” Ripped down hostage posters.
February 2025 Posted “Free Palestine” posters on Jewish faculty doors and student dorm rooms. Jewish students attending class pushed and threatened with violence.
