Dave Portnoy settled with The National Labor Relations Board in 2019 after threatening to fire employees who sought advice to form a union. As part of that settlement, it was disclosed that the Twitter account originally encouraging employees to unionize was owned by Barstool, his company, and was created to out labor organizers.
So yeah, this weasel has already shown he'd use planted opposition to further his goals.
