IIRC, Jim R. required everyone who wanted to post on FR to register, with the first day of registration on 11-28-1997. That is the day Jim registered, as did you and me.

There may have been registrations prior to 11-28-1997, but those were all scrapped.

Thanks for the info. I found FR on The Drudge Report. He had "Whitewater Files" as a link. I clicked on it, and found Free Republic. Later on, Drudge removed the link to FR from his site. Can't remember when though.
