I know where the plane is. It’s at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

Somebody wants to create and monetize a new Reality Show on Search Missions. It’s usually a rotation of the same few catagories,
Titanic related. Amelia Earhart/ Jimmy Hoffa/ Nessie

I was hoping they'd find Judge Crater instead.

Seen it speculated that she was on a mission to check out Japanese dispositions in the region before being forced down by Japanese warplanes and killed. Since there’s no mention of this in Japanese archives seized by the Allied victors, whereas even vivisections of US pilots and germ warfare efforts against the West Coast were painstakingly detailed, the Japanese abduction theory seems far-fetched. If found, the underwater wreckage will finally put this and many other speculations to bed.

Amelia Earhart’s plane will be found before the spine and balls on Republicans. So also will be questions about eternity and the existence of heaven and hell.

I’m more concerned about finding my little red Radio Flyer wagon than her airplane.

...It’s at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean... Nah, it was recycled for war materials by the Japanese.

encountered difficulties with local authorities when filing their permits — delaying their voyage. Steve Schultz, Purdue University’s senior vice president and a member of the Earhart research team, explained that “maritime expeditions require thorough preparations and numerous clearances.” It sounds like they spooked the local officials.
They would have been better of sending one guy down there as a tourist to simply scope out the area to determine if it was just weird shadows or sunken tree stumps that were in the water.

“Earhart and navigator Fred Noonan disappeared during her journey to become the first female aviator to circle the globe.”
huh. so this brave ‘first woman!’ to do something did it with the help of a man. interesting. that part of the story doesn’t seem to get mentioned very often. they really, really hate white men is all i can say.
