#1-Trump is trying to justify the legitimacy of tariffs by the POTUS. He is putting pressure on the Supreme Court.

#2-This will satisfy lower income voters-Trump is doing something so they'll all get a check. It'll help the GOP during the midterms next year.

Yes, we'll see moderate inflation but Trump is doing the right thing here.
