If the President were serious, he could revoke regulations making it impossible for small slaughter houses and packers to compete.
But is it federal? I dont know the laws related to meat packing but I do know that small custom processors in this area are running at high enough capacity that there is room in the market for more to keep opening. We just recently got two more.
They are for the most part only allowed to sell in state if I understand correctly, the ones that can ship outside are regulated differently and cant handle/sell/ship all the same cuts. Different inspectors.
