Why?! Look, if you were serving a life-sentence in prison, and had the following choice:

1. Continue serving your monotonous life-sentence without interruption, or

2. Get to be released, at least temporarily, to undergo some treatments, however dubious,

wouldn't you opt for the treatments? At least you'd get to stretch your legs!
