Odessa is the armpit of west Texas. Full of roughnecks and garbage people.
Only Pecos is worse.
Very much agree - did a couple stints up there and couldn’t have been more happy to leave.

Sometimes these fights are staged so others can loot the store. Looked like half-hearted swinging. They all need banned at the store nationwide.
18 months in Midland-Odessa and Iraan, TX. The longest 18 months of my life. Not sorry to see Midland-Odessa in my rear view mirror.
I drove though there in 2001. My first thought was...”We fought Mexico for THIS?”
