Surrogacy is inherently exploitative, reducing women and children both to products to be bought and sold. Women's bodies are purchased, with pregnancy turned into a mere contract between buyers and sellers. The women and children are then expected to simply move on without trauma, despite the fact that they shared a physical connection for nine months.

Much the same can be said bout IVF. The baby is aa commodity, created artificially to meet the wants (not the needs) of self-centered couples (or, increasingly gay couples and even "thriples"). It doesn't matter who else is hurt along the way. In the case of IFV, it's even worse since in the process, innocent unborn human lives are snuffed out or placed indefinitely in frozen limbo because they were not lucky enough to be the "chosen ones".
