Federal government employees that live in northern Virginia are what controls this state. Rural Virginia is conservative but has a much smaller population.
A sudden change by the Decision Desk puts the threatening fool whom the majority of women voted for at a 68 percent chance of winning the AG.
Yeah but a majority of the men are voting for him so I dont get it
Yeah, they will do just anything.
Especially when they are panicking.
The psycho running for AG in VA who wanted to kill his opponent and his children
who has no law enforcement experience whatsoever is leading the current MAGA
incombent.
VA has tipped over to closing evil. Sad.
VA is like many blue states. Huge population center of leftists in one area and red for the rest of the state. Give NoVa to DC.
Yeah, but Hampton Rhodes is very Blue also.
Under the terms of West Virginia’s admission to the Union, I wonder if it is possible for the counties in the more conservative counties west of US 15 to join West Virginia without the approval of the respective legislatures and Congress?
Wanting to kill children is now a political PLUS OK good to know
Now he can kill Republicans. Won’t prosecute himself.
Such irony...Dems voting against a black woman for governor.
So much for their BS rhetoric.
I’m thinking that Republican Campaign consultants in Virginia are a serious problem. I have watched, for years, the most counterproductive and poorly produced ads in the political world.
There is something seriously wrong with the Virginia Republican party and their marketing and image advisors. The party governance system that has continually supported this disfunction needs to be replaced.
I have no idea who I am blaming here, but somebody is badly mistaken or seriously corrupt.
I’m guessing that the culprit is somebody who has put too much faith in academic political science PhD types. I’m a social science pro myself, and I think I can smell my kind at work here.
Youngkin got past all that by personal charm and activity. Earle-Sears could have done the same with decent advice and support.
I live in Hampton Roads and have noticed it becoming bluer in recent years. Even the once reliably Republican Chesapeake and Virginia Beach are purple. Some of it is due to African Americans who vote for the dims no matter what. Also, a lot of northern transplants who brought their politics with them.
In other news, looks like all 17 amendments to the Texas state constitution pass handily, with the possible exception of 14
“providing for the establishment of the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, establishing the Dementia Prevention and Research Fund to provide money for research on and prevention and treatment of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and related disorders in this state, and transferring to that fund $3 billion from state general revenue.”
Another problem is the nationwide Left forked over massive amounts of cash to the Dem candidates with their organized “money bomb” campaigns while the nationwide right/conservatives have no such organization in place, leaving our candidates twisting in the wind to a massive onslaught.
This has been a problem for many years now - conservatives having zero grassroots organization and the base sitting on their behinds and keeping their wallets closed. There were almost certainly at least 1 million conservatives who could have afforded a mere $20 average donation to our candidates, for example...and actually a lot more than just 1 million in a nation of over 330 million, and much more than 2 million who could have afforded a mere $10 average donation, etc.
There's some truth in that.
BUT
VA, NJ and NYC Mayor.
DEEP BLUE STATES
Agree. Sears never effectively responded to attack ads. Did not run a good campaign. Wasn’t helped by the Lt. Gov candidate who said to close public schools and have older women provide child care
Get ready for crime to be out of control in Virginia.
I almost sent Sears some money but saw her campaign foundering and decided not to. I’m in southwestern Colorado.
