Good for him. You hear about these type from time to time. Been a few years but I remember reading about a guy who was 58-59 and was a D-III linebacker.
I wonder in which round Mr. Cillo will be picked in the next NFL draft.
And if he doesn’t get picked at all, he should sue the NFL for age discrimination.

I fear for him if he gets a head blow....the human brain starts atrophying at about age 30-40. More pronounced at 50-60. As it atrophies the space between it and the inner part of the skull widens putting pressure on the blood vessels adjacent the inner skull and the brain. These stretched blood vessels are more susceptible to damage. A head blow could start an internal bleed. He might have skeletal muscles of steel, but one cannot strengthen blood vessels by lifting weights.
Hope nothing goes wrong. Football is for young very healthy men. Even they get catastrophic injuries.
