An online influencer has sparked a firestorm debate after calling for the government to feed “prison loaf” to poor people instead of giving them SNAP benefits to buy food.
Diane Yap is going viral for suggesting that free nutraloaf — an unappetizing but nutritionally balanced mix of protein, carbs, fruits and vegetables mashed together — is the best solution to keep poor Americans from going hungry.
“The point of EBT is to ensure people don’t starve to death. That’s it. Even if we agree that’s a worthwhile goal, it can be achieved with Nutraloaf,” wrote Diane Yap, founder of the Friends of Lowell Foundation, a nonprofit formed to defend academic merit-based admissions at a top-ranked San Francisco high school.
Her viral post inspired howls of outrage from lefties online — who called her heartless.
‘We should treat the poor like we treat misbehaving prisoners,’ is def a take I expect from u,” one X user wrote.
“They can opt out at any time by simply paying for their own food,” Yap responded.
“You’re a horrible person,” wrote a second person.

I think FReepers and "internet influencers" are the only people expressing this disgraceful condition.
I would move gays a little higher on the pyramid in my post #24. Maybe just under Socialism.
But I think the main point stands. Asians like Ms. Yap are sh!t out of luck (as my dad used to say).
A packet of gravy is $.50. An onion is about the same.
They can make their own and make nuts loaf taste better.
This a a fantastic idea. They can be made in regional already existing co-packer plants, packaged in a shelf stable manner like MRE’s and can be redeemed at the local grocery store. Two per day per person. They also get a gallon of milk, a small box of tea bags and two loaves of wheat bread along with a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly each week.

I think that pyramid is correct in that Muslims are at the very top.
But I do wish the gays would test that. Have one go into a Muslim-owned bakery, and ask them to bake a gay wedding cake. Or have an obviously male tranny go into a Muslim-owned store, and try to use the women’s restroom room.

I remember people getting those “Commodities.” everyone looked down on those people because the man of the house was usually so lazy he could not hold a job.
But when he wanted to sell his GOVERNMENT CHEESE, everyone lined up to give him cash for the cheese. That was great cheese!
He would then take the money and go buy a case of beer, when everyone else could only buy a six pack.
At 79 years of age I have never been on welfare or commodities.
One day I was doing errands and my car got locked with the key inside, spare missing.
I called a locksmith. He stopped by and opened the car. I asked whether he wanted credit or a check. He demanded cash.
I told him that I didnt have enough cash left (he was charging a premium due to day, etc). I told him that if he didnt want check or credit then either he could wait for Monday or since we were standing near a tobacco shop, a liquor store, and a grocer that I would go in and buy him more than the price he was requesting of an item he wanted so that he knew I wasnt going to run off without paying anything.
Yes, I had a credit card but EBT could in theory be used that same way for groceries in exchange for other things.
I would like the point out that most of the stories people tell about EBT theft include two important elements, a large black female and lobsters. The stories that arent just for Youtube or entirely bullshit are quite possibly exactly this playing out. The black community doesnt prize lobster, they eats dey shramp and could get many more pounds for the same price if it was for themselves. We know they arent paying their Jewish landlord or something because they cant eat them. The only people that prize lobster and are willing to pay that price are asian/caucasian christian/atheists.
They owed a plumber, a shade tree mechanic, etc and had to pay their bill with something of value.

The same can be said for most charities and other “do gooder” organizations.
Too many are corrupt and little if any donations go to the supposed cause.
Makes it difficult for honest and effective charities to get support.

That “free government cheese” was delicious. So was the peanut butter in the commodities. A couple people in our church got commodities. Also powdered milk and powdered eggs. And I think some SPAM-like meat.
