My oldest son travels to Germany, making pit stops in other countries, at least once a year. I’ve always asked him to bring me magnets from the places he’s visited. When he went to Krakow, Poland, I asked him to get me a magnet of Pope John Paul II, which he did. On one trip to Berlin, he brought me back a magnet of Queen Nefertiti. I thought he’d gone to the Neues Museum where she is, but he said no, that they sell them all over Berlin. One year he took a side trip to Sweden, and visited the Vasa Ship Museum. He brought me home a book and magnet of the ship for me. With all the magnets I bought on my two trips to the UK and Paris years ago, I’m running of space on my fridge for them all.

Hey, that’s why they make refrigerators out of metal in the first place. 🧲
