No it is not; the fielder merely needed to pick up the ball. This is incredible. It did lodge, but it did not affect the play, other than it helped the fielder pick up the ball.
How did it help the fielder? He had to run all the way to the fence to retrieve the ball, as opposed to the ball going towards him.
