I heard this morning that Yesavage was in A-ball at the beginning of the year, it’s hard to imagine a kid going from Class A-Ball to the starting/winning pitcher of Game 5 of the World Series.

Good article except kind of wandering toward the end - is that Scherzer the writer is talking about? Switched from Yesavage to “he”- “he” must be Scherzer??

Very good ballgame and impressive for a 22 year old...hope he can manage to AVOID the “spoils” of the big league...the biggest names weren’t that great off the field....a lot of disappointments in their stories...for the reader!

Same. And I was AT 2 of the 1986 games. This one is great. I wasn't rooting for either team, which makes it even more enjoyable.
