I used to feel sorry for such chimps. Thanks, Jane Goodall.
Then I listened to some zoology experts about how animalistic and sadistic these creatures can be. They are not as human-like as most people are deluded into thinking they are.
The horrific story of Charla Nash, who was viciously dismantled by a “beloved pet chimp” without warning should be instructive.
They belong in cages while captive.

I thank Jane Goodal for the realistic view of chimps. She was the one who found that chimps weren't vegetarians, conducted warfare against their own kind, had mentally ill cannibals and had bad consequences for poor rearing of offspring.
The media doesn't portray her work like this but the media were liars from the beginning. Read her work, especially the later fieldwork.
And yeah I agree, chimps belong in cages when in captivity.
