Just because they ‘portray’ people, doesn’t mean they have much in common with actual citizens. Abnormally feted and elevated, conditioned by trauma-inducing financial instability - their opinions are worth little to less.
That slight sliver of hope will keep the cattle moving through the chute, to see what pasture lies beyond.
