there is the typical bombshell proof of blurry black and white smeared photos or a shaky cam video of what could be snot on the lens. I don’t know if I’d call it conclusive proof of nonhuman intelligence. I have yet to see anything that leads me to believe we’ve found anything. I’m glad they are taking data but we will see if anything comes of it. No one would like to find something interesting more than me.

Well nuclear weapons and the use of atomic energy is why these dudes showed up to lay down the law.

An intelligence from the other side of the universe, with capability to get here and observe us, probably would be familiar with powers far more significant than our weapons.

This study comes from credible scientists—astrophysicist Beatriz Villarroel and medical researcher Stephen Bruehl—
but the research lies outside their primary areas of expertise, blending astronomy, statistics, and nuclear history in an exploratory way.
It uses real data and real analysis, but the reported correlations are not shown to be causal or even meaningfully connected. Moreover, unless I have missed something, the claims of peer review appear inaccurate at this stage.

With the universe estimated to be 13.8 billion years old, I have no reason not to believe that there may be other civilizations out there that may be thousands of years more advanced than us and may have developed technology that allows them to traverse the universe, if not inter-dimensionaly.....
From a religious aspect, why would God give life to just our planet? Was it out of boredom?

“Anecdotal news reports, dating back to 1947, meanwhile, have linked the sightings to secretive nuclear technology tests.”
Not just “anecdotal news reports”, the same thing was noted in FBI files from that period.

This fits in with my theory that UFOs are not extraterrestrials but rather time travelers from Earth’s future, probing to find out just what the hell happened.
Farfetched? Look at our technological advancement just over the past century. Who is to say FTL travel won’t be mastered in a millenium or two? We seem to have no problem believing aliens have it.
Call it 12 Monkeys without the nonsense and singing.
