The solution is obvious:

Vote early and often....................

“Disenfranchised” my a$$.

The ONLY mail-in voters should be carefully applied for and approved, not wholesale.

[stating the obvious for the record]

I want a return to showing ID and would even prefer a purple pinky finger.

There should only be in person voting, with the exception of absentee and military mail in votes .

Can the USPS simply refuse to carry ballots?

Lazy people who can’t be bothered to go to the polls are disenfranchising themselves. Don’t try to blame anyone else.

I just picked up three weeks worth of mail after being away. There were about 100 pieces in the pile. Ten were even worth looking at. Five were something that I wanted to keep. It appears that USPS rates favor junk mail for charities, politicians and advertising. If people mailing that junk had to pay what it costs to be delivered, a lot of it would stop. Junk mail is totally annoying.

Six day a week home delivery is also unneeded in this era of paying online and automatic payments of one’s bills. Home delivery to individual homes that are close together is also a waste of taxpayer money. Where I used to live some houses were up about 15 steps from the street with many bushes growing on the hillside of their yards. The letter carriers had to walk up 15 steps, put the mail in the box by their door, walk down 15 steps, walk to the next house, up the 15 steps, etc. They should at least be required to have a mailbox at street level.

It’s always amazed me that people who wouldn’t entrust the USPS to deliver cash or a check would entrust them with something as precious as their ballot.

There is a plan being considered to put ‘neighborhood’ mailboxes on every block or so, where the carrier puts mail in separate boxes like apartment buildings, strip malls and trailer parks have.............

“Disenfranchised”: A word used by Democrats which means “We didn’t get our way.”

Exactly how I feel about this. I am sick of this crap.

While I don’t want to go back to a time when only property owners could vote, if it is worth that much to them, they could get out of their furry pajama bottoms long enough to go to their precinct to vote on Election Day.

If it were really about actual voting rights. But it isn’t.

This absentee ballot BS has ZERO to do with enfranchisement, and EVERYTHING to do with disenfranchising voters via FRAUD.

I always have an identical experience. This time one was a birthday card that took 10 days. A bunch was for people that haven’t lived at that address for 10 years.

I’m still waiting for two packages that were mailed to me for Christmas 2022.

Jim Saksa has a lot of time on his hands.

Seriously, Jim - 2,328 words? Six pages? The word "could" used a dozen times?

So, if you dropped your ballot off before the mail carrier came, you could be pretty confident that it’d be postmarked that same day.

><

When I drop a letter at the post office, I am not confident it will get to its recipient, ever! The PO has lost two checks that were being sent to me over the last two years!

OH MY!!! the HUGE MANITEE!!! What will we do? What will we do?

As it is I figure if mail gets where it is supposed to go it is an event worthy of special note. It seems about every other month or so one of my bill pay checks goes missing. Yes, checks, via my bank online payments or physical checks by my hand and signed by me. I do not permit autodrafts at all ever.

Checks should only be sent in security envelopes that cannot allow light through.

If a security envelope is not available, a sheet of heavy paper folded around it.

Mail carriers will steal checks if they see one in an envelope. If they cannot cash it directly, they still have your or the sender’s name, address, bank and account numbers to use from the check...................
