California Gov. Gavin Newsom violated federal law by upgrading the driver’s license of the illegal migrant trucker accused of causing a horrific, drug-fueled pile-up that killed three people and wounded several others, a bombshell new report claims.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy blamed Newsom for Tuesday’s deadly crash, alleging state officials unlawfully upgraded Jashanpreet Singh’s commercial license weeks after a new federal rule went into effect barring illegal immigrants from holding such privileges, according to a DOT report released Friday.
The restrictions, which require states to verify an applicant’s legal status, took effect on Sept. 26 — while the 21-year-old Indian national’s driving rights were expanded on Oct. 15, the report states.
“My prayers are with the families of the victims of this tragedy,” Duffy said in a statement.
“It would have never happened if Gavin Newsom had followed our new rules. California broke the law and now three people are dead and two are hospitalized. These people deserve justice. There will be consequences.”

DOT should ban all Kali CDL.
The law and Democrats in the same sentence is rather incongruous.
The federal government should use highway, transportation, and general welfare funding mandates to force all states to verify legal status for both regular (i.e. REAL id) driver licenses and commercial licenses. States like CA use regular licenses in order to look the other way and allow illegals to vote in elections.
Can the State be held financially responsible for its negligence? If it is, the “consequences” will fall on the California taxpayer. Again, the voters always get the government they deserve.

Newsom must be removed as governor. The problem is the rot down to the many mayors.

It’s way past time to put the rat known as Gavin Newsom in the can...
“There will be consequences.” I certainly hope so. And I hope those consequences are more serious than merely taking Newscum’s hair gel away.
If it is clear he violated the law, then why isn’t he arrested? Immediately? It’s how they treat us peasants.
So declare all CDLs issued by California suspended until every last one can be verified. Forbid them from traveling on interstate highways.
Do it to New York and Illinois too while you’re at it.
