The loony left probably couldn't explain what this chart shows:

“climate change is easy to forecast” if you are one of the brilliant scientists er witch doctors.

Predictions are hard to make, especially about the future. - Yogi Berra

I must disagree with the distinguished scholar and Yankee backstop. Predictions are EASY to make. They are a dime a dozen. ACCURATE predictions are difficult.

I’ll go with Toronto in seven.

The theft of taxpayer money by climate fags and trannies should be enough for American RED states to start arresting the environmental wackos and lock them up. They are separating families from the money in the family’s paychecks. SOBs.

“Despite decades of dire projections about the climate...”

Let me rephrase that.

“Because of decades of dire predictions about climate that never came true...”

WSJ embraces the green agenda because it provides them with a higher living standard, as the money freely flows into their personal coffers. But when it flows in directions away from them and into the coffers of others, their living standards are diminshed.

That is why I abhorr the WSJ.

Their whole approach is for their own enrichment. They care not about others & how they live. Furthermore, they care nothing about this nation as well. Because with their wealth they will just relocate to the best option that eists.

They are nothing more than serlf serving htpocrites, period.

Like civil rights or immigration ... climate change has been made into an industry. Lots of greedy and unprincipled bureaucrats have a tremendous stake in keeping it alive.

They will even take the whole country to the mat over it... just as they did with 'civil rights'. And, it's the same with 'immigration', we can watch right now in real time!

Like any other 'industry', tons of money routinely changes hands with these issues. DC is positively awash in money with these guys!

“After a few minutes of reading this worthless article, I went to the end to see who the author was.”

I instead check that first. It usually tells me what agenda the guy is pushing and whether he has any credibility.

I have zero sympathy for those who whine about how many in the public are “anti science”.

When gangs of scientists decide to fabricate junk for money they have made their own bed.

Now they lie in it.

***We Can’t Stop Climate Change, So We Need to Prepare for It***
Forty five years ago they were singing a different tune.

From POPULAR SCIENCE, Feb 1980..
PS/What’s News ....
page 73
Changing the weather intentionally or otherwise weather modification..(Earth cooling vs Greenhouse effect)

“Do you suppose we can learn enough, soon enough, to pull off a balancing act with the CO2 blanket saving us from another ice age?”

“How the heck can anyone claim, with a straight face, that the climate is easy to predict?”

indeed ... decades ago, so-called chaos theory was used to mathematically prove that plain ol’ ordinary weather systems are too complex and too unstable to accurately predict beyond 72 hours ... so obviously predicting climate decades or hundreds of years in advance is indeed total bullshit ... heck, simply mixing leavening powder into a bowl of flour, though deterministic, is impossible to model ...

It’s easy to predict if you don’t have to be right in terms of reality, just in terms of politically. All I have to say is the global temperature will be 2 degrees warmer by 2080 and I’m right politically. I may not even be in the ballpark in reality, but that doesn’t matter. It has never mattered.

Remember they called “Global Warming” and that failed so they just changed the name to “climate change”

In the hard sciences of Math and Physics, the earth’s climate is known as an open system, meaning all influencers are probabilistic and not deterministic. Any assertions must be less than certain, and any models developed from such assertions must suffer a continuing decrease in probability the further they are extended into the future.

However, we are always treated with infallibility statements like those for the boiling point of water, which happens in a closed system. Popular reasoning requires a complete disconnect between events and conclusions and is no more rigorous than Middle Age alchemy.

Excellent summary—well done.

The leftists violate every key element of scientific inquiry and call it “science”.

People have had delusions of grandeur and control since Nimrod built his tower of Babel. Al Gore & MMGW & co. are nothing new under the sun.

Nimrod thought he could ascend his tower to heaven and be like God. Al Gore thought he could somehow control the weather and be like God.
