Professor Jonathan Turley had something similar happen to him a couple years ago. Someone has to be feeding false info into ChatGPT, Google, etc. Every instance I’ve seen has been on people who do not sufficiently toe the Democrat party’s line.
“ChatGPT Wrongly Accuses Law Professor of Sexual Assault”

From the article:
““I received a curious email from a fellow law professor about research that he ran on ChatGPT about sexual harassment by professors,” Turley wrote. “The program promptly reported that I had been accused of sexual harassment in a 2018 Washington Post article after groping law students on a trip to Alaska.”
“It was a surprise to me since I have never gone to Alaska with students, The Post never published such an article, and I have never been accused of sexual harassment or assault by anyone,” he said.”
Boss, we need to buy a Lexis-Nexis subscription.
Our organization is refocusing on labor-saving, labor-enhancing applications with strong revenue prospects....
AI wouldn’t work if it had a conscience.
Google’s AI will lie. I foolishly asked it about the enumerated and narrowly defined powers of government and it claimed the general welfare clause gave the government unlimited powers.
Isn’t AI wonderful?
AI can only do what it is programmed to do. Sue the programmers and whoever directed the programmers.
Several AI have the facts wrong a distressingly high proportion of the time. And of course they have the opinions wrong...and of course they state opinions as if they are facts and of course, they use opinion documents as fact.
I don’t know about the future, but AI is not yet ready for prime time.
AI is no different than any other computer: Garbage in, garbage out.
