On Oct. 20, 2024, Donald Trump performed one of the finest acts of campaign trolling in the history of American politics by working the fryer and serving meals at a McDonald's franchise in eastern Pennsylvania. "Now I have worked at McDonald's," he told reporters while wearing an employee apron and leaning out the drive-thru window. "I've now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala, she never worked here."
Trump's ingenious gambit had the intended effect by highlighting the lack of evidence for Kamala Harris's dubious claim that she "did fries and ... the cashier" at a McDonald's in California during the summer of 1983. It all started in August 2024, when the Washington Free Beacon published a bombshell report on the weird circumstances surrounding Harris's alleged employment. To this day, there is still no credible evidence to suggest that Harris actually worked at McDonald's—a detail she revealed for the first time while running for president in 2019.
For example, Harris never mentioned her work at McDonald's during her earlier campaigns for office in California. It didn't appear in any of the books she published about her life in 2009, 2010, and 2019; the authors of two Harris biographies didn't write about it either. She just blurted it out one day during a campaign appearance with striking McDonald's workers in Las Vegas.

Just as most voters could tell that Biden was unfit to serve as president, a majority of Americans were not convinced Harris was telling the truth about working at McDonald's. A poll released days before Election Day found that almost 60 percent of Americans did not believe or were unsure that Harris had actually worked there as claimed.

Kamala Harris said she worked at McDonald’s.
Apparently a total lie and she had many chances to have a manager or coworker and her Social Security earning quarterly records, or her tax records of employment prove she worked there. She never did.
“This issue isn’t about Mr. Blumenthal’s great service to the state’s veteran and military population, it’s about him refusing to apologize for claiming to be something he is not,” said DiFederico, who served in the Navy as a member of the 1983 multinational peacekeeping force in Beirut, Lebanon.
I was unaware of her claim, that came out of nowhere, was at a rally in support of striking McDonald’s workers. However, it makes perfect sense. Democrat politicians will suck up to unions, and their members at every possible occurrence, and unfortunately, many of the union numbers will just blindly accept what they are told by democrat politicians or union bosses.
I’ve worked in the union environment during contract negotiations, and a strike. The vast majority of union members were as dumb as rocks, and I feel bad insulting rocks. The only updates the union would ever give out was big evil company, bad, union good, shut up, don’t question us, and stand out in the cold and hold the sign we gave you and yell at people.
The company actually released, publicly, a copy of their proposal, uncertain, sticking points. The union refused to acknowledge if it was true or not, but happily let useful idiot union members tell everyone it was false because it was on company letterhead these geniuses printed out outside in the cold for like another 45 days before essentially settling for what the company posted oat prior. I’m so glad I don’t have to work with that environment anymore.

I ate at this Mickey D’s long before Trump visited. I can remember when it had those concrete tables and benches out front, before there ever was a drive thru.
I’ve never worked McDonald’s, but have worked in food service. It’s not my full-time job today, but I will still help out at some local events a couple times a year. As you said, something like McDonald’s Fry station is probably one of the most entry-level things you can work. You literally put fries in basket, drop basket in press button, and would it beeps take them out.
Working a Friday later, in a non-McDonald’s or fast food environment, where you could be cooking a whole bunch of different things each time you drop it, fries, chicken, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, etc. Without the timer is actually very tricky to do.

Anyone go to their local Social Security office and request a lifetime transcript of their employment which involved contributions to SS/SSI... which would absolutely have been the case for employment at a McDonald’s in Alameda County, California. If Comma-Lah had ever really worked at a McD’s, even for one lousy paycheck cycle, her people would have triumphantly produced the transcript with a huge “Gothca, suckas!”
