I’m a Phillies and Yankees fan, but the Dodgers just became America’s team for one October. Go Dodgers. Those idiots don’t get to win OUR Sport.
Hope so.

Doesn’t this fit in with President Trump’s suggestion that Canada be added to the Union?
After all, Toronto won the American League.
We don’t want that part of Canada.
Can’t wait for the Dodgers to win.
Born and raised in Kalifornia, when it was California and Reagan Country. Our dad was born in San Francisco. Both mom and dad were full Irish.
Dad had an interesting animus to the Dodgers, and probably most things involving Los Angeles (he would not be at all surprised, not happy, but not surprised at the current state of Lost Angeless). He was not a hateful person. He was also a firm believer in America. He was a pilot in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Even though he was shot down twice, he fought to, and returned home. He did hate one thing. He had a visceral hatred of Commies.
Anyway, we could never root for the Dodgers.
Today, with President Trump in office and the current state of The Socialist Republic Of Canada, if dad were still alive, he might be okay with rooting for America to win.

Don’t care about Canada, but Donnie Baseball has finally made it to the World Series. For Yankees fans, Mattingly was the only positive thing for us during the 80’s and early 90’s. Hope he gets his World Series ring.
As a Dodger fan, I didn't care for him as our manager (nor for Joe Torre), and I'm pulling for the Dodgers, of course; but I wish him well generally.
Wish they both could lose.
