@RandPaul
Washington’s spending addiction is out of control. I refused to support the $2T GOP deficit or the $3T Democrat deficit.
I don’t want a shutdown, and I’ll support legislation to ensure our troops are paid, but I won’t rubber-stamp reckless budgets from either party.

Which he does not. He votes with the GOP over 90% of the time. He votes for liberty and against Big Government.
Rand Paul supports illegals.
You believe anything you're told. He's voted for securng the border.
When he sees a TV camera, he trips over himself to get to it. This is another of your ridiculous, false claims. That you would post a statement like that discredits everything you say.
Excuse me, but he has voted with the RATS and he's even co-sponsored Bills with them. You need to do your homework. This is just his most recent vote with the RATS:
Again, he's more concerned about terrorists and drug runners than American citizens.
From September 2025:
Durbin Joins In Introduction Of Bipartisan Bill Protecting Documented Dreamers
From the above article:
"U.S. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, joined U.S. Senators Alex Padilla (D-CA) and Rand Paul (R-KY) and U.S. Representatives Deborah Ross (D-NC-02) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA-01) to reintroduce bipartisan, bicameral legislation to provide a pathway to citizenship for long-term residents who were brought legally to the United States as children as dependents on their parents’ work visas."
Again, Rand Paul is more concerned about illegals than he is American citizens.
Rand Paul broke with his own party on border security funding. Then his party broke with him.
Because it increased spending. Taht’s a conservative position.
Apparently, you prefer RINOs to genuine conservatives.
No, I prefer Conservatives who support and vote for President Trump's Bills, which the Big, Beautiful Bill was.
And of course you pretended you didn't see any of the other examples I provided to refute your claims in your earlier comment. Figures.
So you want blind allegiance to Trump, no matter what he does.
You provided nothing that refuted my statements.

And when I wrote: "Rand Paul supports illegals," you said: "You believe anything you're told. He's voted for securing the border."
In response I provided examples of his supporting illegals, in fact co-sponsoring a Bill to protect them, and the fact that he voted against funding border security.
But you want to ignore those facts, and pretend they never happened.
You might want to wait to see how he's evaluated for his voting record in 2025, since President Trump has been in office. Since October 1st, he's voted every time with the RATS to keep the government shut down.
You would vote with the R’s if you’re vote was the deciding one, Rand. We know your game by now, since your vote doesn’t matter one way or the other you’re preening and virtue signaling as usual. I sure wish Kentucky would lay off the whiskey long enough to elect a real conservative and not a phony pussy like you.
I didn’t say never. He votes with the GOP well over 90% of the time. I don’t want monoliths. Especially when a GOP administration is spending even more than we previously spent, forgiving student loans, and playing other fun financial games. How about we tae Paul, Massie, and a couple of others up on their idea to end the Fed instead of increasing spending?
He does not support illegals. He opposes using the military because you’re not legally allowed to do that.
And I can find pro-manesty statements from Trump.
You are wrong on that. His statements, which I have provided, and his bi-partisan support of protection of DACA illegals contradicts what you are claiming. I also advised you that he is in favor of allowing illegals to remain in this country if they haven't committed a crime since they've been here. What about the crime they committed to get here? Rand Paul doesn't even take that into consideration.
Yes. Anyone who seeks and holds a *political* seat and fails to have the IQ that politics always *requires* compromise to move the ball forward, is a fool, a hood ornament, a virtue signaling waste of space.
REAGAN understood this well, famously saying, “if you can get 75 or 80 percent of what you ask for, you should take it and fight for the rest later, instead of holding out for 100 percent and getting nothing.”
This approach was central to how Reagan built coalitions and passed legislation by rallying support from allies rather than demanding total agreement.
Reagan and Trump build coalitions to get 75-80% and win, instead of insisting on 100% or nothing and always failing to accomplish anything.
Rand and Massie are purist failures at moving the ball forward.
Which they both happily do, but you attack them for trying to move closer to our principles.
Or should everyone vote like the Bushies?
You’re a slow learner. .
Congratulations on making such a logical, rational, persuasive argument.
Is that the best you can do?
That wasn’t an argument.
It was an observation of your lack of understanding of politics.
After being on FR for a quarter of a century, you don’t understand politics, nor the success of Reagan nor Trump, so there is nothing that can convince you.
Simple as that.
I’ve been in politics since I was 8. I understand it quite well. You think it’s a cult loyalty test.
Since 8 and you still don’t understand how it works.
You’re doing it wrong.
I understnd it perfectly fine. You, OTOH...
Sure you do.
