A man waited more than 50 years to carry out his vengeance after being bullied at school.
South Dakota man Carl Ericsson never forgot how his bully Norman Johnson pulled a jockstrap over his head in a high school locker room when he was younger.
Retired Madison High School teacher and track coach Norman Johnson had answered his front door only to get shot twice in the face.

Bullying in HS?
.
Nah——
I loved a Good Fight !
“ Retired Madison High School teacher and track coach Norman Johnson had answered his front door only to get shot twice in the face.”
Did he give him time to even know why he was getting street Justice laid down on him?
I’d have shot him in the legs first.
Then let him think for a while.
(I mean I wouldn’t do this but if he’s going to, do it right).
Yep, 50 years of self-torture.
Meanwhile, the "bully" forgot about whatever happened 5 minutes later and lived a normal life.
“ if I met many of those people today, they would be ashamed.”
Don’t be so sure.
It’s an interesting question.

Probably bullying his wife and kids and students, being protected by his teacher’s Union.
I understand. Obviously, not all. But I have met some, and the ones I have met have carried it for years and been unable to find a way to make their peace with it.
I’m wondering if dementia has anything to do with it.
Problem is bullies only pick in smaller kids.
They don’t pick on kids who can fight back.
Like criminals.
Second Amendment evens things up.
Bullies are Democrats and leftists. Defend yourself and the bullied gets in trouble.
I had a hard childhood in this regard. As a Christian I have since let it go and forgiven them.

I bullied a guy in high school. I’ll skip the details but the last thing he said from his prone positon in the street was “I’ll get you M***F*** if it the last thing I ever do . . . “
Fast forward a few years and his face was on the FRONT PAGE of the NYT as the informant on the Weather Underground bombers and he was headed for witness protection.
Made me just a little nervous until a few years later when I learned he died.
I don’t recommend bullying.
Children act without the benefit of experience. I guess some folks never stop thinking as children.
But we must put away childish things.
I think some people may understand what they did.
My guess is the ones who were the biggest bullies don’t.
Unless they get their heart changed.
I believe I never heard of the term “injustice collector” until one of the Dick Wolf shows I binge watched. Maybe Law and Order Criminal Intent or the first L&O? Definitely a bad thing.
It means holding on to vivid memories for years and years of something done to them in the distant past. Like a bank account with the past and present harm remembered and no withdrawals for forgiveness.
I see some of it in myself, sadly, but counter it by trying to do good for each person.
One article on it.

It’s not that. Bullying is not childish.
Thinking someone deserves Justice is not childish.
LOL!
The idea was to do it Don Corleone style and throw gun that had no markings away.
But, maybe your way is better ie shoot someone with a gun, that has a nice fat registration #, that traces the gun to your father when it was issued to him in the Navy during WWII, and leave it at the scene.
As opposed to a gun with no markings, no prints, that you bought from some black kids on the South Side of Chicago around Morgan Park, that you break up and throw in Lake Michigan, after you shoot the unsuspecting bully in the face.
I got bullied in high school by a trust fund kids. He was going to be any attorney and I would always be white trash.
You know what happens when attorneys steal from pension funds?
I wrote a nice letter to him explaining the irony of our current situations. He was doing 7 years at ClubFed. I was in charge of more money than his pension fund ever dreamed of.
Oh, and I slept in my own bed every night curled up with my beautiful wife, who often scrubbed my back in the shower....
Living well is the best revenge.. though I hope he suffers for all his actions..
 1,000 miles away, unfortunately. 😊
I think the key phrase is in the bolded part.
