Federal agents arrested a Portland mother who was playing the “Ghostbusters” theme song on her clarinet at a protest outside an ICE facility.
Oriana Korol, 38, is a member of the Unpresidented Brass Band, which calls itself a “social action oriented, horn driven marching band,” and seeks to deescalate protest tensions. In a video of her arrest from Sunday, a federal agent can be seen violently dragging Korol to the ground, as two more agents come to his aid and her clarinet falls out of her hands.
She has been in Clark County Jail in Vancouver, Washington, since, and is still being held without bail.

This arrest is yet another example of the excessive, indiscriminate, and in some instances unlawful actions that the federal agents who’ve flooded American cities in the past few months have taken. On Tuesday, federal agents in Chicago violated a freshly minted temporary restraining order banning them from tear-gassing civilians, also gassing local police officers in the process.
The Portland Mutual Aid Network has called for Korol’s release, urging supporters to call the Clark County Jail.
“Oriana Korol was peacefully protesting ICE on 10/12 and was illegally detained by ICE and DHS,” their statement reads. “She is the clarinet player for Unpresidented Brass Band, and was playing music for protestors.

From the headline I deducted the same thing. Then I saw New Republic and was convinced. I skimmed the article just so I could comment
Resisting arrest is at least part of the situation but the New Republic will never tell
“It says she “was arrested while playing....” It doesn’t say what she was doing prior to that.”
It does state that her clarinet or whatever crashed to the ground. It’s like a combat story. And they’re detaining her “illegally’. Our entire justice system is corrupted, or so the new republicans wants it’s propagandized Auden e to assume

Also, off and on, I would create unique flyers and place them around campus. One of my favorite creations caused some libs to protest others rights to free speech. One of my most successful flyers was - White Men Can't Jump & Black Men Can't Add - I would get to campus early, place the signs at eye level near heavy walking areas; then I would sit near enough to hear their outrage. Often the young skulls full of mush could be heard shouting at the horror of the flyer. And, of course, they would make a very big noise tearing it off of the wall. A day or two later, I would begin again.

Article paints the clarinet player as a totally innocent bystander that somehow got "stuck" between ICE and their target but it's the only source I've seen actually quote law enforcement.

Every single person who claims we stole Indian land should be moved out of their house and never allowed to return. Its sale funds will go to the local Indian tribe and they would be forever barred from owning land in the USA.
They need to be forced to live with the consequences of their beliefs.
