Does anybody use immersive 3D “virtual reality” headsets?
20 years ago, it was thought they would find a huge application in industry. You could “look” at an aircraft and “see” all the wiring or hydraulic lines in the aircraft.
I got a pair of 3D glasses with a plasma TV I bought maybe 10 or 15 years ago. They are still sitting in the original case, unopened and unused.
I’m a long-time Mac user. My wife worked at Apple for ten years back in the Steve Jobs days when the Lisa and Mac were being invented. We used to get new products to bring home and try out plus got huge employee discounts. That started us down the path of using almost all of Apple’s products and enjoying their “ecosystem.” We are still an iPhone / iPad / MacBook Pro / MacBook Air / Apple TV / AirPods family. I’m renting a Chevy Trax this week and like the Apple CarPlay.
Me too. Just for tourism alone, imagine being able to walk or drive through a city, look around, move at your own pace, etc.
I have never owned any Apple products nor, as far as I know, even touched one anywhere............
And I used to think you were such a nice guy!
I have nothing against Apple, just never could afford their products. I may buy an Apple Mac at some point now, though..............
Somebody once said using tech should be like using your toaster (of course, that was before toasters went digital and hard to operate). Apple products always came close to that ideal. Through the years, I’ve tried to simplify things and just didn’t have the desire or patience to keep MS stuff running.

There's a rumor of an A19 (current iPhone CPU) based laptop, analogous to the Snapdragon laptops already out there. The difference will be a much lower price, thanks to the economy of scale from a couple of billion iPhones.
Eventually they will have embedded chips containing an LLM model more powerful than the ones today. So basically every laptop will come with ChatGPT as firmware.

Enjoyed it until I stopped watching. A channel begun in May of last year, and "only" 35 videos? With A-Eye -- which is bad grammar -- one could make thousands. And to what end? The last question is the serious remark.
