Having spent more than my share of time in Iraq and Afghanistan in uniform and Saudi, UAE, and Qatar in the oilfield, I can assure you they hate us because: (1) were not Muslim; (2) we’re (generally) free; (3) we’re not Persian or Arab; and (4) we have not submitted to their rule and have things they want.
Israel is largely just an excuse.
