AIPAC spent $53 million last election. The total the 2 campaigns raised for president alone was 3,000 million. If they could sway much with $53 million, EVERY CAMPAIGN would run to them for advise!
And we get direct benefit from Israel. For example, Iran’s nuke facilities are now gone - and it was ISRAEL that paved the road to them. That was something many of us thought needed doing when I was still in the military under GWB, Jr!
BTW - IIRC, all the money for weapons we give Israel MUST be spent on US weapons.
