Over my head.
I’m a low tech guy and the simplicity and effectiveness of Google suits me. AI now shows up on Google which I find helpful even though I’m not sure how to trust AI yet.
If you give it a try by just asking a question or two in one of the ChatBots you will probably find that for a low-tech guy they are actually just easy if not easier to use as Google. But don't worry about it. People told me for years that they were getting more and more useful, and I kept thinking it was all hype and ignored them. But then I tried it out, now I am hooked.
The possibilities go far beyond asking questions of a chat bot however. There are all sorts of ways to use this technology. You start by asking questions then you realize that you can ask them to do things for you like how to program your home computer to use it to host webpages.
As a further example. If you were thinking about buying a house, but you wanted to know what the property tax rate actually is at that exact location and how much the taxes would likely go up to if you paid the asking price... these services will find this out for you.
You could do this using Google, but these services make this type of research much easier.
