Yeah I watched the incoherent interview with the Phillies pitcher. Mistakes happen in baseball. Easy for us to judge and all.
But he would have done better for himself with an honest straight forward response, e.g. I screwed up. But he sounded like someone with a sub-80 IQ or on drugs. Pitiful.
Are you kidding me? You are down a run in the ninth with the bases loaded, and you get out of the way of a pitch that if it hits you ties the game?!?!?!
