The only thing I can think of, right off the bat, is that they’ve created a filter that is so small it will disperse. So this is “laser” light without the specific Nobel gasses.

Which would be great.

But then my inner cynic also says that the author knows nothing of what they were told and published a garbage article for the paycheck. Occums Razor.

A single wavelength cannot be dispersed with either a prism or a grating. This is true no matter what produces the light.

A white LED is made by shining a UV LED through a material that fluoresces white.
