When I first got to Italy, the US exchange rate stunk for many countries in Europe. When RR was elected the exchange rate flipped big time in favor of the US dollar.
When I got to London for a couple days of site seeing I didn’t have to spend a Pence for a drink at the local pubs. The locals back then were friendly and just wanted to hear an American’s perspective on things..
