Cities were better when the mob ran themYou are correct and particularly Vegas. When the mob ran Vegas they sold tits and ass, gambling, cheap booze and food and show girls, that is the tits and ass part. They were customer oriented and gave them what they wanted. That is not a bad business model.
My comments are not an endorsement of the mob but and endorsement of good business practices.
