Even if all the spiffy new AI search tools insist otherwise.
There is a constant harangue from left-wing politicians and complicit media that Trump and his administration are fascists and that MAGA, ICE, and anyone else they don’t like are Nazis.
When you ask Gemini A.I., Duck A.I., and Wikipedia, “Is fascism right-wing?”, the answer is yes; fascism is considered right-wing. Co-pilot says yes, it is right-wing, and then says it has left-wing aspects as well, and then concludes that it is right-wing. What?
A Wikipedia Overview via A.I. comes up with this: “Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology ...”
Dinesh D’Souza said on a PragerU video that the Nazi regime was redefined after WWII from left-wing to right-wing. His reasoning, summarized, is that political and academic leaders wanted to ensure that their collectivist (socialist) beliefs were separated from the horrors of Hitler’s regime. It appears the redefining was successful.
Emmanuel Rincón wrote “There’s No Denying the Socialist Roots of Fascism” in 2021. This article looks at fascism not as a list of words, but through the actions of the fathers of fascism: Benito Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile. Together they wrote the “doctrine of fascism.” Gentile said, “Fascism is a form of socialism; in fact, it is its most viable form.” The Fascist Party broke with the Italian Socialist Party, but mainly in rhetoric. They moved steadily toward the collective. The fascist Italian government first nationalized the arms industry. Private property in practice was eliminated. They did not own the means of production or fully control the economy, but they dominated it. Businesses were run by individuals, but to keep that business, the business had to serve the state.

Right wing socialists?
I always found the “bundle of sticks” basis for fascism to be kind of funny when you consider the English term for the same thing: Faggot.
So, fascists = faggots.
He he he….
Watching RSBN round table with Trump and Wow! Wow! WOW!
Will the msm begin to cover it, or will they attack these brave young people? It gives me hope the next generation reporters will be ok.
Yes, it is from the Communist point of view. All calling someone fascist does is identify the accuser.
Consider a triangle. The corners are (1) democracy, (2) fascism, and (3) communism.
Adolph Hitler is at the second corner. He looks out and sees democracy and communism and he’s against them.
Joseph Stalin is at the third corner. He looks out and see democracy and fascism and he’s against them.
Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt are at the first corner. They look out and see communism and fascism and they’re against them.
So, are we conservatives like fascists? Yes, if you’re a communist.
Are communists like fascists? Yes, if you’re in the mainstream of the politics of democratic countries.
Who’s right? In one sense, it depends on your perspective.
With regard to history, Dinesh is 100 percent correct.
Hitler and Mussolini were originally communists. Following WWI, they then combined nationalism with socialism to create a third way.
Mussolini’s brand did NOT define nationalism along genetic lines. Instead, he defined nationalism along cultural lines. Jews were perfectly welcome to his party. Africans also in the Italian colony of Libya.
Hitler’s brand define nationalism specifically along genetic lines.
In our country, the parallels would be Woodrow Wilson, the racist, and Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy famously said there shouldn’t be any hyphenated Americans. Not this or that immigrant American. Not “native-born” Americans. Not minority Americans. America, he said, is of the mind and of the soul. Not a bloodline.
You look at our people nowadays, whether in the Republican Party or the MAGA wing of the Republican Party; or, whether the Conservative Party or the Reform Party of the United Kingdom, and what defines us is our belief in freedom and self-responsibility.
I found ChatGPT is pretty benign and you can easily win arguments. It’s apologized numerous times on different subjects I’ve thrown at it and thanked me for correcting it. Problem is, it doesn’t learn or remember anything. You ask the exact same questions the next day and you get the same wrong answers, apologies and then tanks.
Fascism and National Socialism have a high regard for hierarchy.
Communism does not.
They are polar opposites.
Right wing = European politics
Limited government = American conservatism
There is no such thing as a free market, capitalist, limited government fascist or Nazi.
It’s worn out, a lie and ignorant
On the circular spectrum it's communism -> anarchy -> fascism.
-PJ
Why do conservatives twist themselves in knots?
mine too.
consider using the spectrum of anarchy on the right and totalitarianism on the left.
totalitarianism-——————————————— anarchy
total control no control
fascism is to the left of conservatism or just enough government to protect individual rights.
Capitalism + globalism = Marxism
A long-ish quote that bears directly on this subject, that has been on my profile page for a couple decades, from an informed, educated observer of the times:
Although our modern socialists’ promise of greater freedom is genuine and sincere, in recent years observer after observer has been impressed by the unforeseen consequences of socialism, the extraordinary similarity in many respects of the conditions under “communism” and “fascism.” As the writer Peter Drucker expressed it in 1939, “the complete collapse of the belief in the attainability of freedom and equality through Marxism has forced Russia to travel the same road toward a totalitarian society of un-freedom and inequality which Germany has been following. Not that communism and fascism are essentially the same. Fascism is the stage reached after communism has proved an illusion, and it has proved as much an illusion in Russia as in pre-Hitler Germany.”
No less significant is the intellectual outlook of the rank and file in the communist and fascist movements in Germany before 1933. The relative ease with which a young communist could be converted into a Nazi or vice versa was well known, best of all to the propagandists of the two parties. The communists and Nazis clashed more frequently with each other than with other parties simply because they competed for the same type of mind and reserved for each other the hatred of the heretic. Their practice showed how closely they are related. To both, the real enemy, the man with whom they had nothing in common, was the liberal of the old type. While to the Nazi the communist and to the communist the Nazi, and to both the socialist, are potential recruits made of the right timber, they both know that there can be no compromise between them and those who really believe in individual freedom.
— F.A. Hayek, The Road to Serfdom
Mussolini was a communist until he set up his own murderous collectivist ideology in competition ...
Hitler openly called his ideology National SOCIALISM ...
But communists control Big Media and Big Education, and don’t want to be associated with defeated ideologies ... so they created the fiction of fascism being “right wing”.
It’s a 3rd Positionist movement. There’s more to life than left and right.
Many that call themselves anarchists seem to actually be communists. I think it is the “up is down” thinking they are using that causes them to believe this.
On the Lincoln Memorial. Make of it what you will.
