I don’t think there are actually many individuals with enough power to be termed a war lord. They certainly lack the capability to create armed war.
I believe that America is plagued with a coalition of City States. America today is ancient Greece. Acting as a coalition that is the Democrat Party, the City States control their territories that are in fact States of the Union.
Being the location of the most population they nearly control the Union. They have been described as America’s most dangerous enemies. The City States are in fact America’s worst enemies.
The City States have ceased to actually be American
They certainly lack the capability to create armed war.
