There’s a lot I find admirable about Swift’s career…but her music still doesn’t click with mr.

That being said: she’s always been WAY WAY less “progressive” in both her persona and song-writing than say, like a Madonna or someone…and Swift’s largely hyper-feminine (yes feminine, not feminist) fanbase reflects that.

Her biggest hit to this day is literally called “Love Story” and dreaming about marrying a prince.

My daughters are Swifties (36 and 31), but after they listened to the most recent release, they said they won’t let their kids listen to it because at least 3 of the songs are too explicit. They were both disappointed in her change of direction.

No; that song peaked at #4.

Swift has had twelve number one hits, those being Fortnight, Is It Over Now, Cruel Summer, Anti-Hero, All Too Well, Willow, Cardigan, Look What You Made Me Do, Bad Blood, Blank Space, Shake It Off and of course We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
