AUSTIN, Texas — "Austin ISD on Friday announced plans to potentially close 13 schools as part of a consolidation effort driven by declining enrollment and budget constraints. Looks like a lot of niños & niñas went Adios! To the detriment of AISD looking at a $20 million budget shortfall. The school superintendent had a deer in the headlights look on his face in his interview with KXAN while saying "doing nothing is not an option". They built their budget planning on the shifting sands of illegal aliens. Sucks to be them.
